What is included in a standard cleaning visit?

A standard visit includes skimming the surface, vacuuming the floor, brushing walls and steps, emptying skimmer and pump baskets, testing water chemistry, and adjusting chemicals as needed.

Do I need to be home during service?

No. As long as we have access to the pool, we can complete the service without you being home. We will send you an update after every visit.

How long does a pool service visit take?

A standard weekly visit takes between 30 and 60 minutes depending on the size of your pool and its condition.

How do I know if my pool water is balanced?

Accepted Answer

Balanced water is clear, does not irritate eyes or skin, and has no strong chemical smell. pH should be between 7.4 and 7.6 and free chlorine between 1 and 3 ppm. We test and adjust this on every visit.

Why does my pool keep going cloudy?

Cloudy water is usually caused by unbalanced chemicals, a dirty filter, or poor circulation. It can also happen after heavy rain or a lot of pool use. We test the water first before adding anything to identify the exact cause.

A loud or grinding pump usually means the motor bearings are worn, there is air in the system, or debris is caught in the impeller. Do not ignore it since running a failing pump can cause further damage. Call us and we will diagnose it.

A clogged skimmer basket or dirty sand filter are the most common culprits. Try cleaning the basket first. If the filter pressure is high, it likely needs backwashing. If neither fixes it, call us and we will check for a mechanical issue.

First check that the timer and circuit breaker are working. If power is reaching the pump but it still will not start, the motor may have failed or there could be a wiring issue. We can diagnose and repair or replace the motor.
